Car Park (2001)
Expenditure £160,000.00
A major problem for patients and their relatives visiting the Cancer Centre was the lack of adequate parking. The Hospital Trust made available a derelict garden directly opposite the Cancer Centre’s entrance. Substantial funds were provided by the Charity to convert the garden into a 20 space car park. To ensure the car park is available exclusively to Cancer Centre users the admission fee is used to fund the salary of a car park attendant.
