Electric examination couches
At present the clinic rooms examination couches are very old and difficult for patients to use. They are not height adjustable and have to use steps so patients can get on/off them.  For frail patients this can be very difficult and on occasions some patients can not use the couches.
The electric couches are able to height adjust and are slighter wider making them more comfortable for the patient and more user friendly. We are able to use the electric couch for very frail patients.

This is a band which patients wear on their upper arm for 24 hours and it measures their energy requirements.  This would be a really useful way of developing accurate nutritional care plans to meet the patients energy expenditure.  This should ultimately help to minimise the weight loss of individual patients who are struggling to meet their daily needs nutritionally and more effectively measure and monitor them.
