3 Peaks Challenge for the Bronzeleaf Boys

We would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to the boys from Bronzeleaf Tree Surgeons, Horsham, who did the three peaks challenge back in August raising money for the Sussex Cancer Fund. The team raised over £3200 and completed the challenge in 23 hours and 19 minutes. The challenge saw the team climb the three highest peaks in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowden, all within 24 hours including travel time.

The challenge itself is a tough one! 90% of people complete all 3 peaks, however only around 40% manage it in less than 24 hours with 50% achieving successful completion between 24 and 25.5 hours. The boys trekked around 26 miles and ascended to a total height of almost 3,000m, with about 462 miles of driving between climbs.
