The Sussex Cancer Fund continues to champion its ethos of compassion and comfort for those undergoing chemotherapy. In a recent stride towards this mission, the Fund has proudly unveiled two new chemotherapy chairs, enriching the experience of patients within the chemotherapy suite at the Sussex Cancer Centre.
The addition of these chairs is not merely a logistical enhancement; it’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to making the journey of cancer treatment more bearable. Chemotherapy sessions often stretch for hours, requiring patients to endure both physical discomfort and emotional strain. Costing approximately £1300 each, the acquisition of these chairs would not have been possible without the generosity of those who believe in our cause.
