SCF at The Community Celebration Square, Brighton Christmas Festival – 2nd December

Brighton Christmas FestivalThe Sussex Cancer Fund is delighted to be taking part in the Brighton Christmas Festival by having a day in the Community Celebration Square in our very own chalet on Thursday 2nd December.

The Brighton Festival is a five week-long Christmas festival starting at The Old Steine and using the newly developed Valley Gardens area that runs up to St Peter’s Church, the festival hub is made up of five Christmas themed zones. The Christmas Market spans the complete length of our festival site with stalls and festive food and drink options in every zone. Centred in Valley Gardens this is the central hub for the market, with wooden chalet, lined lanes offering everything from artisan Christmas decorations to delicious festive foods!

The Community Celebration Square encompasses the spirit of the festival.

This is where you will find one of the main entertainment areas, the community stage! This special zone has been designed to celebrate our diverse and talented community, and we will be showcasing local choirs, schools, community groups, artists, and you will even find some of the city’s famous buskers.

The centrepiece of the daily festivities will take place each evening as we host a ‘Very Merry Christmas’ celebration with our resident festival cast. Our ‘Mega Tree’ and festival lights switch-on will happen daily with a program of live and immersive entertainment before and after the ceremony.

This is where the Sussex Cancer Fund Team will have a chalet on the 2nd December, please do come and see us if you can.
