Xmas Tree Recycling Helping Cancer Patients in Sussex

Bronzeleaf Tree Surgeons
Seb Robinson, Director at Bronzeleaf Tree Surgeons & David Witham, Fund Manager

We were delighted to welcome Stuart Farrell-Humphrey, one of our Business Ambassadors together with Seb from Bronzeleaf Tree Surgeons to the Sussex Cancer Fund to deliver a cheque for £280 on the 28th of April. Stuart from Phoenix Marketing worked closely with Seb and Bronzeleaf Tree Surgeons over the Christmas period to raise money for the Sussex Cancer Fund.

Phoenix Marketing, longtime supporters of the Sussex Cancer Fund, suggested us as a charity and supported Bronzeleaf Tree Surgeons in raising awareness of their chipping service across their social media channels. Bronzeleaf managed to raise £140 and were generous enough to match this, generating a whopping £280 for The Sussex Cancer Fund. This has not only raised money for a great cause, but it has also provided an eco-friendly way for people to dispose of their trees. These chippings have since been reused and have therefore provided no harm to the environment. Be sure to watch this space as Seb and Bronzeleaf will be aiming to raise even more money next Christmas!

Stuart understands the importance of giving back to the community and supporting charitable causes and has been supporting the Sussex Cancer Fund over recent years. Stuart, raised money last year by cycling 1000 miles and is planning to do another challenge again this summer.

Thank you to both Bronze Leaf and to Phoenix Marketing for your continued support and of course to all those that recycled their Christmas Trees raising much-needed funds for cancer patients in Sussex.
