An Evening of Popular Chamber Music for Sussex Cancer Fund – 8th June

We are delighted to invite you to an evening of Chamber Music performed by staff from BSUH in aid of Sussex Cancer Fund

Date: 8th June
Time: 7.30 pm
Venue: The Sarah Abraham Hall, Brighton College
Tickets: £10* each for adults, children free. 

Back by popular demand, the staff of BSUH bring you an evening of chamber music supporting the Sussex Cancer Fund. The evening will be led by Dr Ashok Nikapota (Consultant Clinical Oncologist), Ashok will be joined by his talented musical friends and colleagues from BSUH for a selection of classic chamber music pieces and some additional popular music choices.

This year, Steve Morgan, Head of Physics, will be officially joining the programme on the piano. The venue, the Sarah Abraham Recital Hall has once again been very kindly donated by Brighton College.

We do hope you can join us for which promises to be a very entertaining evening.

Where Cricket Meets Ladies Day  – Tuesday 2nd July 2019

We are delighted to announce that Sussex Cancer Fund is this year’s charity for the prestigious event  ‘Where Cricket Meets Ladies day‘ sponsored by Consortium business solutions together with Ridgeview English Sparkling Wines.

Times: Arrive 12.00pm for 1pm lunch

Nina Gilligan, comedian, will be the special guest.

So join us for day 1 of the Specsavers County Championships for Sussex v Northamptonshire and enjoy a 2 course lunch and afternoon tea, with charity auction and heads and tails.

Medieval Banquet in aid of the Sussex Cancer Fund – Saturday 2nd March 2019

Join us for a Medieval Banquet courtesy of  the very generous Mayo Wynne & Baxter. This Medieval themed dining experience is an exclusive event as you and another 300 guests will be transported back in time. The night will start with a drinks reception, tankards of ale and goblets of wine before you are called to be seated at the long banqueting tables in the ‘Kings Hall’.

Here you will be able to help yourself to the big feast. During the banquet, guests will be entertained by minstrels, jesters and potentially an occasional sword fight!  Guests are encouraged to dress in medieval fashion and an amazing prize awaits the best dressed couple on the night. All proceeds raised on the night will go to Sussex Cancer Fund.

First Friday Lunch – Friday 1st February 2019

Sussex Cancer Fund have been asked to be a speaker at the first Friday Networking event on the 1st February. Businesses of all sizes attend First Friday Network meetings.

Businesses meet to make connections, talk about what they do and find ways of helping each other. It’s a great opportunity to meet like minded people in an informal, friendly atmosphere. Consortium are the sponsors for the lunch and have asked two people from Sussex Cancer Fund to speak on behalf of the charity; Professor Chris Pepper (PhD) – Professor in Cancer Studies and Dr Andrea Pepper (Ph.D)  – Senior Lecturer in Cancer Research.

Sussex Cancer Fund Sponsoring the Eastbourne Ladies Lunch Club – Friday 18th January

Thanks to Consortium, Sussex Cancer Fund are delighted to announce that we are hosting a networking event called the Ladies Lunch Club in January. The Lunch will be held in Eastbourne at the Grand hotel on Friday 18^th January 2019.The Ladies Lunch Club is a networking club for women business owners or decision makers who enjoy meeting, supporting and proactively networking with like-minded women over an informal lunch.
