#KnightsArmy for Sussex Cancer Centre Chemo Unit

The amazing Emma Knight is running the Brighton Marathon Weekend’s 10K together with her Knights Army! Which consists of 20 plus friends and family all running with her for support. Emma has already gernerously donated funds to Sussex Cancer Fund from her ‘A Celebration of Life and Very Special People’ Party.

Emma commented on why she was fundraising “The Sussex cancer centre is where I received chemo for a sizeable tumour in my right boob and some cancery lymph nodes. The care I was given was filled with humour, love, compassion, professionalism and more love. The centre is incredible because of its people and its people deserve an environment that matches their outstanding care, as do the patients, of which there are sadly many. I’ve been given an awful lot to help me get through this. People are still helping, and I still have stuff to get through. This is one way for me to give something back and some of my army of family and friends are right beside me in this, just as they have been since diagnosis. Please donate what you can and know you’re giving to a truly life changing place. Chemo is hideous and the regime is loooong. We can make that better for people.

Thank you, Emma and the 20+ #KnightsArmy family who are with me xx”
